Olivia restrepo, 8th grade athlete patiently waiting outside of the classroom waiting for for her class to start, a little before this she was walking through the loud, noisy halls on the way to her classroom. Olivia stated “be yourself and don’t let anyone bring you down no matter how hard things get.”

Olivia is a very opinionated person, She has been interviewed and gave some very in depth answers. Olivia is in 8th grade and is doing cross country hoping to do track and she 100% recommends cross country and track to everyone, She stated that “While track is very fun and socializing It’s also going to be tough and tiring at times but hey, that’s expected from all sports because at the end of the day it’s still a sport.”

As of Olivia being very opinionated she is also very determined, Olivia has her goal set and is ready to try and make them. Olivia has said she wants to try out for the following- 100 meter dash, 400 meter relays, 200 meter relays and 300 meter relays. That’s a great goal for her to have, she’s 100% going to make them with all her hard work she puts into track/ cross country. Now while this whole interview was about track and cross country and how she feels about it, it also can really show you someone’s whole personality give or take their response. Olivia did great and you could really tell how open minded and determined she is! While Olivia was giving her responses she said “Things get really hard at times but you just have to push through it” and that is an amazing thing to go buy.
