There are many controversial fashion topics, such as baggy jeans, jorts, and pajamas. Although some people think pajamas are laziness or tacky, they are actually quite fashionable.
Blake Lively, television star on “It Ends with Us,” was seen wearing a floral pajama set at the Tribeca festival artist dinner—Lively, along with many other celebrities such as Beyonce, Elizabeth Olsen, and Sofie Turner. Turner, a star on the popular television show “Game of Thrones,” wore a pink and blue pinstripe pajama set to the French Riviera, a celebrity vacation hot spot located in the south of France.
Many iconic brands, including Louis Vuitton, Versace, Burberry, and Gucci, have created their luxury pajama line. In this post-COVID world, we normalize comfortable clothing including pajamas. Pajamas are seen in workplaces, celebrities, and in schools around the world. The question remains, will this trend, like many others, is a passing trend or is it here to stay?
“I think pajamas will stay a trend because they are comfortable,” 8th grader Aubrey Young said.
