Let’s go Bearcats! In a earlier game this season, B team beat Brewer 36-0. The second game against Brewer for B team was also successful, as B team won 30-0

After 8 weeks and 298 points scored, the football season ended. Overall, our Bearcats have done well this season, in total, they were 12-6 for the entire season. They did especially well in the last third of the season, going 5-2 as well as finishing undefeated seasons for B & C teams.

The C team only played one game as they combined with the B team for the last 2 games. In their final game against Stephenville at home, they won 30-14 in a dominating performance. The A team, unfortunately, did not do as well as the B & C teams, as they closed out the season 1-2. In their last home game against Stephenville, one of the best teams in the conference, they lost 33-0 in a game that was done by halftime. They bounced back at Brewer the next week, scoring a season-high 20 points. It was not enough to beat Brewer’s high-powered offense, as Brewer scored 34 points to make the final score 34-20.

When asked about how it felt at home games compared to away games, Lucas Craig, TE (Tight End) / LB (Line Backer) for the C team said “It felt way better being at home games than away games.”

The A team would bounce back against Everman winning their first game of the season 2-0 off of a safety. B team did the best out of the 3 teams, as they were 3-0 to close out the season.

First, they beat Stephenville at home 22-0. Then they beat Brewer away 30-0 in a blowout, their biggest win on the road. To finish the season, they played at Everman and won 24-0 finishing an undefeated season.

“I feel like our team has done well this season because of our coaches challenging us to do better.” is what Lucas Craig said about why his team has done well this season.
