My name is Alyssa, and I am in the 8th grade. I joined journalism because I wanted to try out something new. I wanted to be part of the staff so that I could have an impact and a new experience. Journalism is important to me because I find it engaging and fun. Outside of school I enjoy hanging out with my friends/family and eating. A fun fact about me is that I am a good cook. My favorite movie is Twister. I am excited to be part of the journalism staff because I know that I am going to have a good time and work hard. This year I hope it goes smoothly and that I accomplish new things.
