My name is Kate Rogers and I am in 8th grade. I joined journalism because I think it’d be fun to make the yearbook. I wanted to be part of the staff so that I could help with the newspapers. Journalism is important to me because it’s something I like doing. Outside of school, I enjoy volleyball and a fun fact about me is that I jumped over the tennis nets outside of school and broke my arm last year. My favorite book is “Just Like That”, my favorite movies are “The Sandlot,” “The Mighty Ducks 2,” and “The Fall Guy”, my favorite TV show is Outer Banks. I am excited to be part of the journalism  staff because I want to help with the yearbook and this year I hope do good in this class.
