Hello, my name is Laney Lawrence. I am in 8th grade, and this is my first time in a journalism class. I joined journalism because my dream is to be an author, I have always loved writing and I thought this could help me meet my goal! Something I love doing outside of school is writing stories! I love to use my imagination and creative mind to write something sensational! Fun fact, I am currently working on a story right now, It’s called Drifted. Any book I read or write has to be fantasy, I adore anything with magic and wonder, such as Harry Potter! This year in journalism I hope to find something I can bring my creative imagination into. Something I would really like to work on. So excited for this year!
