Praise! Brylan Olea, 8, and Edward White, 8, start off the Student Body of Christ meeting with a Bible verse. Olea and White started the prayer group in September of this year. "Edwards brother, Bill, started something last year so we figured we should keep that going so we could have a prayer group in 8th grade," Olea said.

Ending The Season Off Great!
Let's go Bearcats! In a earlier game this season, B team beat Brewer 36-0. The second game against Brewer for B team was also successful, as B team won 30-0

Stay loose! 8th grader Vivian Beeby stretches out before a meet. Beeby placed 12th in her category, breaking her previous record. “I like the sense of accomplishment after I run,” Beeby said.
Chasing your goals
On your marks. Placing her foot behind the starting line, 8th grader XC runner, Avery Jeter takes a deep breath. Her first ever XC meet of the season, a 2 mile-long run held at Azle.  "When I put my foot on the starting line that's when it hit me that this was my first meet of the season and I wanted to do great." Said 8th grader, Avery Jeter. "I needed to be confident in myself in order to do good."

Spooky Season. Tuesday night Millie Coppinger cheers for the boys last football game. To make this night special the cheer girls did scary make-up looks to go with their cheer dance. "It was fun, but it took away my time to trick or treat," Coppinger said.

James Boltwood loves singing in choir with his friends. Boltwood is preparing for his upcoming Christmas show by singing "The Grinch". "I enjoy singing The Grinch since it means a lot to many people." Boltwood said.

Cheer away. 7 and 8 grade students doing a cheer routine at a weekly middle school home game. That night Aledo took the win with the support of our cheerleaders. " That night was a successful game, we had so much fun cheering!" says Holland Fay.

Shield up! Wearing a Captain America shirt, 7th grader Kinley Pavelka does her science work. Today was Red Ribbon Week's Dress Like A Super Hero Day. "Red Ribbon Week is a good cause, and I wanted to participate," Pavelka said.
