ExtravaBANDza. Band students just finished playing their 3 tunes and started to watch the marching band play "Havanna Nights"  The band students spent about a week practicing their songs for this performance "Stick with it," 8th grader Kip Cotten said "it (band) gets way more fun."

New Creations. Angelica Arreguin was creating a toy for a kid with disabilities in design and modeling. She had been recently designing a toy that would be shapes that you can put through and match. "I believe there should be toys made for kids with disabilities".

Uh oh! During the fall play, Mrs. Benoit is lecturing her actors. After 2 hours of practing, the actors backstage won’t stop talking at almost every rehearsal, and it gets on Mrs.Benoit’s nerves. “Mrs. Benoit’s lectures were mostly about us talking too much backstage,” said 8th grader Scout Newman.

Morning Routine. Spending her morning in the 8th-grade hallway, 8th-grader Alexa Elmore scrolls through her phone. Elmore normally gets to school around 8:15 and hangs out with her friends. "We should be allowed to be in other places than the hallway," Alexa said, "if we could be in the cafeteria, we would have plenty of space and not have to be clumped into one tiny hallway."
