My Chemical Romance front man, Gerard Way, waves to the crowd during the “The Black Parade” stadium tour.
After 24 years, a break up, and a long awaited reunion, the New Jersey band, My Chemical Romance, is back in action and performing their largest tour yet. Starting in South America and ending in Indonesia, the band is on a mission to make this tour even better than their “Long Live The Black Parade” 2025 stadium tour. Since the 2025 tour, My Chemical Romance has used more pyrotechnics and more theatrics.
The current tour revolves around the alternate personas of My Chemical Romance, known as The Black Parade, being reconditioned in a facility known as the M.O.A.T.
If you don’t know already, My Chemical Romance (MCR) is a hugely popular American rock band formed in 2001 after the 9/11 attacks. MCR produces songs in many genres of music, the most notable being emo, pop-punk, alternative rock, and post-hardcore. The band was forced to delay the start of the 2026 tour (specifically in Bogotá, Colombia) just weeks before it began due to “reasons beyond our control,” causing frustration for fans.
In conclusion, My Chemical Romance is back in full force, and performing in San Antonio on September 12, 2026.

![Run Like The Wind! Maddox Murry (8th) runs at a cross country meet on September 25. He ran his hardest, and just locked in, just like at every meet. “My brain just stops and my body just operates itself and somehow navigates [itself] like autopilot,” Murry said.](https://mmsrewind.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Screenshot-2025-02-26-11.35.51-AM.png)
