How cool is it that someone at our school has their own brand? Cale Crenshaw created “IYSED” and lots of people want to know what this is about and how he started it.
“Me and my dad started it. He started his own brand so he inspired me to. I don’t want to work for someone else, I’ve always wanted to be my own boss,” Crenshaw said.
IYSED stands for Increase Your Skills Every Day.
“I wanted to start a brand about getting better every day,” said.
He wanted to make the brand to encourage anyone who wanted to get better at something.
In ten years from now, Cale has a solid plan for the future of IYSED.
“I hope to have sold the company at a good price. That way I can spend time with my family,” Crenshaw said.
Yet, he still has some options in case that doesn’t work out the way he wants.
“I’ll keep it as a family business. I just want to retire young and not have to work all my life,” Crenshaw said.
The one thing Cale said he would say to his younger self starting IYSED was that he should never give up.
“Don’t give up at all, because I haven’t when I thought I would, which makes me glad,” Crenshaw said.
There were times along the way when he wanted to give up on his brand, but he stuck with it and it’s growing and more people are hearing about it.
Crenshaw is excited to see how his brand affects others and himself greatly in the coming future.
