The launch of Warhammer 40,000 eleventh edition is right around the corner, but it feels like barely anyone is excited. I mean, 2026 marks 39 years for the game, and I think that achievement should be celebrated. In recent years, the Warhammer franchise has grown even larger and more popular than ever before. So let’s break down the recent reveals for the Armageddon box.
Games Workshop (GW) unveiled the magnificent “classic” space marine, which was, uh… not very promising. Despite the weird mashup of armor types, I expect that they’ll look good enough on the tabletop.
Along with the space marine, GW showed off an Ork Boy which looks very interesting. Personally, I think the new models are very striking, and that they truly capture the spirit of the greenskins.
In the end, the new edition of Warhammer 40K will bring new rules, models, and new fun. The new Armageddon launch box releases this June, and if I know anything about the stocks of Warhammer, you should race to your friendly local game store as quickly as you can.
