MMS’ volleyball teams played AMS on September 18 at Aledo Middle School. A Team won and B and C both lost in really close games.
8th grader Brock Evans went back and forth between MMS and AMS’ Student Sections. He said that both sections were very loud, energetic, and had all-around good environments.
“Both teams did very well and every game was good because they all went to three sets and they were all super close. I thought it was a really good game,” Evans said.
Ava Thomas, the C Team setter, said that they did good and had good moments during the game.
“I was scared because all the girls there warmed up good so they played good,” Thomas said.
Camille Cremer and Rylee Brown both experienced their first rivalry game in Aledo.
“It was fun, I really wanted to beat them because they were cheering really loud,” Cremer said.
Rylee Brown also had a good experience at the game, yet it was also challenging.
“I think the biggest challenge was playing our game while playing somebody who’s also very good,” Brown said .

![Run Like The Wind! Maddox Murry (8th) runs at a cross country meet on September 25. He ran his hardest, and just locked in, just like at every meet. “My brain just stops and my body just operates itself and somehow navigates [itself] like autopilot,” Murry said.](https://mmsrewind.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Screenshot-2025-02-26-11.35.51-AM.png)
