A survey done by the Rewind shows how the STAAR Test effects student's Mental health and overall self-esteem. The majority of students reported that STAAR Testing makes their mental health worse.

Run Like The Wind! Maddox Murry (8th) runs at a cross country meet on September 25. He ran his hardest, and just locked in, just like at every meet. “My brain just stops and my body just operates itself and somehow navigates [itself] like autopilot,” Murry said.

Everyone on a volleyball team should know how to play defense

Do people agree or disagree that all volleyball players should somewhat know how to play defense when playing?

Volleyball players who can play both front -row and back-row defense are far more valuable than one-dimensional players. When hitters know how to play defense, they increase their overall game IQ and mental resilience , becoming better at anticipating the game’s flow. Furthermore, in younger or high school volleyball, players often rotate through all positions , meaning early mastery of defense is beneficial for the team’s overall ability to compete.

Sixth grade students in Mrs. Morrison’s class worked hard while preparing for their STAAR test. While some students worked on IXL, and others studied and solved problems, all of them worked as hard as they could to prepare.
